Trilogy Studios is set to inaugurate three groundbreaking virtual production stages in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. According to an official statement, the move responds to the rising demand for top-tier virtual production facilities in the film, television and commercial sectors.
Trilogy Studios is an American film and television studio company specializing in state-of-the-art facilities, data-driven digital marketing and distribution capabilities that serve filmmakers. Their blend of physical and virtual filmmaking techniques is transforming media creation.
Scheduled to open in June 2024, the new stages are the first phase of a broader initiative to meet the increasing demand for high-quality virtual production facilities in the film, television and commercial sectors. Trilogy Studios collaborated with Optic8, a leading LED Volume integrator, to bring these state-of-the-art venues to life.
The production complex, spread across a 5-acre site, will accommodate the three stages, a set construction workshop and support facilities tailored to simultaneous productions.
The flagship is the cinematic volume, an expansive LED screen measuring 157 feet wide and 23 feet tall, designed to meet the needs of cinematic and episodic productions.
The car processing stage features six rolling LED walls and adjustable ceiling sections, catering to vehicle shoots of various scales.
Lastly, the commercial stage offers a curved LED wall spanning 50 feet in width and 20 feet in height, ideal for commercial and broadcast productions.
