Award-winning chef Omar Flores is set to open Casa Brasa, a prime steak and seafood destination inspired by the open-fire grills of Latin America, this summer in Dallas. Located at 8111 Preston Road, Dallas, the restaurant draws from the Spanish word for ember, “Brasa,” symbolizing the communal ritual of gathering around fire to cook, share and celebrate.
At Casa Brasa, the menu is built around contrasts: Mexican aguachiles, Mediterranean-inspired salads, sushi rolls with a Latin twist and soulfully seared steaks, all prepared over open coals. The space, currently undergoing a full renovation, will feature an open-fire grill, raw bar, sushi counter, private event space and a lively bar scene.
The concept is backed by Flores and the Marshi Family of Big Dill Hospitality, known for popular DFW spots like Muchacho Tex Mex, Even Coast and Whistle Britches.
