In a defining moment for North Texas luxury real estate, the Perry-Miller Streiff Group of Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate recently closed the highest-priced residential sale ever recorded in both Plano and Collin County.
The estate, located at 5805 Red Wolf Lane and priced at $15.9 million, went under contract just two days after it was listed and officially closed on May 12, 2025.
The Estate
Spread across 6.75 acres, the estate includes more than 12,500 square feet of living space — enough room to get your steps in without ever leaving the house. Built by Sharif Munir Custom Homes, the property has six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and nine garage spaces. It also comes with a lighted tennis court, a boathouse on a private lake, a home theater, a workshop and an outdoor kitchen With its Austin stone exterior and wide-open views that feel more Hill Country than Collin County, it’s a retreat that somehow landed right in the middle of Plano.
Targeted Strategy Yields Rapid Results
The listing was handled by Ryan Streiff, founding partner of the Perry-Miller Streiff Group. According to Streiff, the rapid turnaround and record-breaking price point were no accident.
Before the home hit the open market, the team launched a carefully timed off-market campaign to create interest and urgency. The home’s brief time on the MLS is a testament to the strategy’s success.
“This sale speaks volumes about the vitality of the luxury market in North Texas,” said Streiff. “We anticipated that this estate would make a statement — and we made sure the right buyers heard it loud and clear.”
A Signal to the Luxury Market
More than just a sale, Streiff said the closing reflects broader trends in North Texas luxury real estate. “This isn’t just a milestone — it’s a market signal,” he said. “High-net-worth buyers are aggressively seeking luxury properties in North Texas, and demand continues to exceed supply. The results are undeniable.”
As Local Profile previously reported, this isn’t the only luxury home to hit the market in Collin County. Former MLB All-Star Matt Kemp recently sold his custom-built Celina estate for $6.5 million — one of the highest asking prices the town has ever seen. The lavish home, dubbed The Estate at Honey Lane, spans nearly 11,000 square feet and sits on 5.5 private acres in a gated enclave. Built in 2023, the property blends sleek design with resort-style amenities and a dose of celebrity cachet.
