Participate in the AKF Walk/Run at Frisco Square and support the efforts of the Aga Khan Foundation!
The 2018 Dallas AKF Walk/Run will be held on Saturday October 13, 2018 at Frisco Square in Frisco, Texas.
This event will feature a fun run for young kids, a competitive 5k run – both with amazing swag bags – and a free walk for all ages; along with this, the event will have many food vendors, entertainment, and other family friendly activities. The event also includes a Village in Action which will provide participants of all ages an inspiring opportunity to engage in interactive displays and learn how people in developing countries create innovative solutions to overcome the challenges of low income, poor health conditions and limited educational opportunities.
The Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) is a global non-profit, non-denominational organization that helps people in developing countries find solutions to the problems of poor health, inadequate education and low incomes – regardless of gender, origin or religion. AKF is a member of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), an international network of agencies to foster social, economic and cultural development.
