With the launch of Tiki Social, both Omni Las Colinas in Irving and Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa are transforming into tropical escapes, complete with breezy cocktails, bold flavors and laid-back summer energy that makes every day feel like a beachy getaway.
A Poolside Paradise
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, both Omni properties are serving more than just luxe accommodations, they’re transforming into summer playgrounds with vibrant pool scenes, live music and, most notably, a pop-up tiki bar so immersive you might swear you hear waves crashing.
Tiki Social is a limited-time, island-inspired experience set up right by the pool. Open to both hotel guests and locals (thanks to day passes), it brings a fresh twist to your typical summer hangout.
Cocktails Crafted by a Tiki Legend
This isn’t just another umbrella drink situation. Omni teamed up with Jeff “Beachbum” Berry, a mixed drink living legend. Berry is the author of seven books about vintage tropical drinks and the owner of Beachbum Berry’s Latitude 29 in New Orleans. Now, he’s bringing his signature flair to North Texas.
“Tiki has always been about transporting people, if only for a moment, to someplace sunny, breezy and far from the everyday,” said Berry, and the Tiki Social menu delivers exactly that.
Sip, Swim, Repeat
The exclusive menu features eight tropical cocktails, including two non-alcoholic options, perfect for lounging in the sun or dancing poolside. Here are a few highlights:
- The Coconutty Islander – Served in a real coconut with platinum rum, passion fruit, lime and macadamia liqueur.
- Mai Tai Have Another – A reimagined classic with gold and dark Jamaican rum, orgeat, orange and lime.
- The Tropical Tease – Tequila, mezcal, raspberry and a splash of crème de cacao.
- Totem’s Kiss – A spiced citrus blend that pairs with either vodka or rum.
- Donovan’s Reef – Scotch meets pineapple and chili liqueur in a bold, fruity kick.
Las Colinas Cranks Up the Volume
While both Omni locations are hosting the Tiki Social experience, Omni Las Colinas adds a music-filled edge to the mix. Nestled along Lake Carolyn, it’s bringing the heat all summer with:
- Live DJ sets every Saturday from 12–6 PM
- A Summer concert series kicking off on Friday nights, featuring local artists and good vibes all around.
How to Join the Party
You don’t need to book a room to sip your way to the South Pacific. Day passes are available for both locations, giving you access to the pool and all the summer magic.
