Celebrating 10 years, the Vitruvian Salsa Festival is set to start on Saturday, June 8, featuring a performance by the Dallas-based Latin orchestra Havana NRG. This year, the festival has been moved up from its traditional August date, with concerts taking place on the second Saturday of June, July, August and September.

The festivities at Vitruvian Park Amphitheater will run from 6 to 10 p.m., starting with professional salsa lessons by SD Dance Studios and Luis Delgadillo for all skill levels from 6:30 to 7 p.m., followed by live performances. The festival also includes music by a local DJ and a variety of food trucks and vendors.

During opening day, attendees can expect an evening filled with vibrant music from Havana NRG, renowned for its dynamic performances that inspire audiences to dance.

Following Havana NRG, the festival will feature performances by Tumbaka on July 13, Yamilka G y su Orquesta on Aug. 10, and Zone D’Mambo on Sept. 14.
