The upcoming Legacy West Legacy Hall line-up is now even stronger. Dallas-famous Chef John Tesar created a new burger spot that’s sure to be a hit.

Tesar will open Knife Burger, a fast-casual joint serving up award-winning, trademark burgers from his popular Dallas restaurant Knife.

Hopefully more Knife Burger’s will pop up around the area too. In a release, Tesar noted, “We hope this will be the first of several other Knife Burgers opening in the next few years.”

The three-time James Beard “Best Southwest Chef” semifinalist and “Top Chef” contestant Tesar is all about quality. He’ll continue to work exclusively with local, family-owned 44 Farms, providing all-natural USDA prime angus beef.

Delight in Tesar’s burger creations as you take a stand at the standing-room-only counter burger spot (check out a comparable concept in Ten Ramen, a Dallas noodle spot), or choose pickup or delivery.

“It’s like Ten in the sense that we’ll just be taking up 350 square feet, you’ll come up and order your burger on the iPad, and we’ll call you.” Don’t expect boring table tents either. Tesar hasn’t quite figured out how diners will be notified their burger is ready, but it will definitely be creative.

You’ll be able to take a bite out of Knife Burger in 2017 (scheduled to open next fall) after Legacy Hall is ready for consumers.
