Calling all Plano foodies and enthusiasts of fine dining! The Taste of Plano Foodie Pass is back for its fourth consecutive year, promising an even more delectable experience than ever before. Presented by Visit Plano, this mobile program beckons both locals and visitors to embark on a gastronomic journey through Plano's diverse culinary landscape.
Launched in 2021, the Taste of Plano Foodie Pass received the Destination Marketing Program award in the Big Market category at the Texas Travel Awards in 2024, underscoring its significance in showcasing the city's rich culinary tapestry.
With over 80 participating eateries, the program showcases a variety of cuisines and dining experiences. From cozy cafes to upscale bistros, the Taste of Plano Foodie Pass invites patrons to explore Plano's culinary offerings.
From March 4 to Sept. 30, 2024, participants can sign up for the free program at visitplano.com/tasteofplano. A simple link sent to their mobile phones provides instant access to the pass without the need for downloads.
Upon arrival at their chosen dining destination, pass holders simply check in using the saved passport link on their mobile phones, unlocking exclusive discounts and special offers redeemable with each visit.
Visitors accumulate points with each visit and coupon redemption, which can be exchanged for prizes such as tote bags, coolers, tumblers, t-shirts and stickers. Additionally, by checking into 20 participating restaurants by Sept. 30, patrons automatically qualify for entry into the Fit for a Foodie sweepstakes.
The grand prize includes a certificate for a charcuterie board-making class for six led by the Executive Chef at the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West and $500 in restaurant gift cards. Runner-up prizes feature luxurious weekend hotel stays and generous restaurant gift cards.
