This week, The Star District announced two new restaurants that will be opening to the Frisco community in spring 2024.
The first eatery moving into the entertainment district is Wabi House, a Japanese restaurant that has become a staple in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Founded by Dien “Chef D” Nguyen (head chef at Piranha Killer Sushi) and Chef Kenzo Tran (Pho District owner), Wabi House is famous for its Japanese-inspired dishes, including ramen and yakitori, along with beverage offerings like sake and cocktails.
The other restaurant that will be opening its doors next year is Rachel’s Kitchen, which will be its first location in Texas.
Having served the Los Angeles and Las Vegas communities for over 13 years, Rachel’s Kitchen is a casual eatery that offers a wide-range of healthy cuisine options, such as salads, gourmet sandwiches, pasta dishes, breakfast meals and much more.
Rachel’s Kitchen owner, Debbie Roxarzade, says that she is excited to provide a new dining experience with an inviting ambiance to the residents in the DFW region.
The new additions to The Star District comes after a year in which the Frisco-based complex saw five new businesses open up, including Cards in a Box (trading card and collectibles retailer), Miller LiteHouse (restaurant and bar), King Ranch Saddle Shop (western clothing store), La Parisienne (French bistro) and Sidecar Social (dining and entertainment lounge).
Located in the 91-acre campus of The Star in Frisco (Dallas Cowboys headquarters), The Star District has welcomed over a dozen new retail and restaurant businesses to its growing roster of dining, shopping and entertainment experiences since opening back in 2021.
