Father’s Day always sounds like it’s miles away, until suddenly, it’s this weekend and you’ve got nothing planned. No reservation, no gift, no idea what Dad even wants (besides maybe a little peace and quiet).

But before you panic and settle for a last-minute tie or “World’s Best Dad” mug, take a breath. You can still pull off a celebration that feels intentional. Whether your dad is the grill-master type, a brunch lover or someone who just wants an excuse to eat a giant ribeye, there are plenty of local spots ready to help you treat him right.

As of now, these North Texas restaurants still have availability for Father’s Day. That could change fast, so if you’re reading this, now’s your chance to book a table, score some brownie points and make it look like you had this all figured out from the beginning.

Sixty Vines

Brunch features a luxe raw bar with crab and lobster tails, a carving station, sushi, ceviche and chef-curated favorites, plus cocktails and mimosas to keep things festive. Come dinnertime, treat him to a 34 oz prime tomahawk steak with horseradish béarnaise or dive into the full seafood and steakhouse menu.


TUPPS Brewery

Give Dad the gift of beer and barbecue this Father’s Day at TUPPS Brewery. The Grain Room Kitchen is serving smoked ribs with house-made sauces, each perfectly paired with four 5 oz. pours of TUPPS’ top brews. Each tray includes a half rack of ribs, eight total, two of each flavor, and four unique beers to match.

Split one or keep it all to yourself, but don’t wait, this pairing sold out last year, so pre-purchase is highly recommended. The full kitchen and bar will be open too, with craft sodas, wine, hard seltzers and non-alcoholic options. Enjoy live music from Hudsy in the Beer Hall.
