Major League Pickleball is bringing top-tier talent to Carrollton this month with the Advil Targeted Relief MLP Dallas event, hosted at Texas' indoor pickleball, Pickler Universe. From July 24 to 27, fans can escape the Texas heat and catch elite coed teams battling it out for playoff points and national bragging rights.
This event marks the penultimate stop of the 2025 MLP regular season and features nine professional teams, including the Dallas Flash, 2024 MLP Premier Champions. With JW and Jorja Johnson returning alongside Tyra Black and Augie Ge, the Flash will defend home turf against a roster of league powerhouses.
The Teams to Watch
Each matchup offers a mix of seasoned champions and rising stars. Highlights include:
- Dallas Flash – Defending champions and local favorites
- Carolina Hogs – Featuring Ben Johns, world No. 1 in mixed doubles
- New Jersey 5s – Led by Anna Leigh Waters, top-ranked in singles, doubles and mixed
- Los Angeles Mad Drops – Catherine Parenteau brings finesse and fire
- Phoenix Flames – Tyson McGuffin fans won’t want to miss this
- St. Louis Shock – Gabe Tardio, Hayden Patriquin and Anna Bright headline a standout squad
Other competing teams include the SoCal Hard Eights, New York Hustlers and the Texas Ranchers — the latter locked in a fierce rivalry with the hometown Flash.
