Pink Zebra Moving, a company known for its hot pink trucks and customer-first philosophy, is expanding into Collin County with a new franchise in Plano.

The Plano location, owned by Jesse and Gloria Garcia, will host a grand opening and ribbon-cutting on July 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at FlexEtc, 1600 W. Plano Parkway.

The Garcias are the first to bring the Alabama-based moving brand to North Texas. Their Plano outpost embraces the company’s bold, upbeat style, complete with zebra stripes and plenty of pink. The opening will include complimentary food, office tours and a visit from Pink Zebra’s mascot, Zeke Zazzle. Guests will also have a chance to meet the Garcias and their team.

A New Take on Moving

Pink Zebra’s goal is simple: make moving less stressful and more memorable. Backed by a reputation for quality service, the brand focuses on “wow” moments that redefine the customer experience.

“This is truly a beautiful industry and we love helping and doing life with people,” Jesse Garcia said in an official statement. “When people encounter Pink Zebra, whether it be our customers or our employees, we want to make the moment different, to bring happiness by delivering a good service. People are our product — the boxes and trucks are just the tools we use.”

Garcia says Pink Zebra’s mission is about more than logistics. For him, the culture of the workplace begins with the environment. That’s why, when he discovered FlexEtc, the choice felt immediate.

Inside FlexEtc

FlexEtc, a 100,000-square-foot co-warehousing facility in Plano, offers a hybrid setup with warehouse units, offices and hot desks. Since opening last year, it has helped more than 270 businesses take root in North Texas, such as Strudel3D and Abby Rose. With flexible leases and no long-term commitments, it has become a go-to for startups and growing companies.

“Your business environment impacts the culture you create,” Garcia said. “I wanted a place where people that interview and work with you immediately understand they’re a part of a thriving business community.”

Garcia was so taken by the FlexEtc space that he recommended it to a colleague, who has since moved in.
