Each September, Addison Circle Park transforms into a lively celebration of German culture, complete with brats, bier and a healthy dose of Texas charm.

Now in its 38th year, Addison Oktoberfest, presented by Paulaner USA, continues to be recognized as one of the most authentic recreations of Munich’s iconic festival in the United States.

A Beloved Tradition With A Local Twist

Since its inception nearly four decades ago, Addison Oktoberfest has grown into a staple fall event for North Texans. Thousands flock to the tree-lined streets of Addison Circle Park to enjoy four days of polka music, stein hoisting, schnitzel sampling and, of course, the crowd-favorite chicken dance.

From German folk bands to traditional Bavarian bites, the festival blends Old World heritage with Lone Star spirit, making it a unique cultural experience that draws locals and visitors alike.

2025 Dates And Ticket Info

This year’s festivities will run from Sept. 18 through Sept. 21. General admission tickets are on sale now at addisonoktoberfest.com, with special discounted pricing available for Addison residents. Starting Aug. 1, residents can purchase tickets for 50% off at the Addison Athletic Club.

Kick Off With Corporate Cheer

The celebration begins with Host & Prost Corporate Night on Sept. 18. Held in the event’s massive Partyhalle tent, this evening has become one of the Metroplex’s largest networking events. Companies and groups can reserve tables that include commemorative steins, a Bavarian-meets-Texas sampler platter and branded signage. It’s a festive setting for client meetups, team celebrations or casual business connections — no lederhosen required (but always encouraged).

A Community Tradition

Beyond the beer and bratwurst, Addison Oktoberfest is about connection. Whether you're twirling on the dance floor, toasting a stein with friends or introducing little ones to a new cultural tradition, the festival brings people together in ways that feel both familiar and entirely one-of-a-kind.
