She said yes! On Dec. 9, 2023, Local Profile’s Media Sales Executive Jamal Reynolds proposed to his girlfriend of 14 months, Kennedy Dendy.
Reynolds meticulously planned the proposal at The Star in Frisco and turned it into an event to remember. The Ford Center hosted the proposal with a large photo of the couple with the words “Kennedy, will you marry me?” on the big screen.
“I was so happy with how it all turned out,” Reynolds said. “Kennedy was very surprised with the proposal. I think she’ll remember this day forever.”
Reynolds invited out-of-state friends and family from Jacksonville, Florida to Texas to commemorate the occasion — providing them with the perfect view of the proposal at the Omni. Following the proposal, guests gathered for a celebratory lunch.
“It was a great morning and made it even better that we had so many friends and family able to make it out,” Reynolds said. “It was a very special day that we all will remember.”
The couple will be getting married in Dallas. “Everything is moving fast pace and we couldn’t be happier,” Reynolds said.
