Dallas-Favorite Hudson House Is Coming To Frisco With August Opening

Collin County diners can now enjoy the world's coldest martini without heading South

Hudson House, the popular East Coast-inspired restaurant from Dallas-based Vandelay Hospitality Group, is set to debut its Frisco location on Aug. 6. Located at 3475 Preston Road, this marks the ninth Hudson House and the seventh in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Since its original debut in Highland Park in 2017, Hudson House has built a reputation for its warm atmosphere, craveable American classics and a happy hour that regularly draws a crowd. Its menu and aesthetic are modeled after classic New England dining rooms and intimate New York neighborhood spots, offering guests an escape without leaving Texas.

“Frisco has been on our radar for a long time — it’s a dynamic, fast-growing community that values quality and experience, which aligns perfectly with what we aim to deliver at Hudson House,” said Hunter Pond, founder and CEO of Vandelay Hospitality Group, in an official statement.

Hudson House’s menu features a mix of American comfort food and seafood-forward favorites. Guests will find dishes like the Hudson’s avocado dip served with ranch chips, the house cheeseburger topped with Hudson sauce and pickles and a traditional chicken parm with creamy tomato pasta. Another standout favorite is the American tuna tower, made with ahi tuna, avocado, cucumber, greens and wasabi vinaigrette.

From the Raw Bar, guests can order a la carte oysters and shrimp or go big with “the bouquet,” a curated seafood tower featuring East Coast oysters, snow crab claws, shrimp cocktail with chipotle remoulade and tuna tartare.

Famous Martinis And Standout Cocktails

Hudson House’s bar program has earned a devoted following, largely thanks to its “world’s coldest martini.” Available in multiple styles, including the classic, bleu and gold with housemade bleu cheese olives and a limoncello-topped lemon drop.

Other drinks include the frozen bellini, strawberry spritz and the spicy Mexican, a cocktail made with reposado tequila, jalapeño and cucumber. For traditionalists, the Manhattan with rye whiskey and bitters rounds out the list.

A Stylish Space With A Neighborhood Feel

Hudson House Frisco features the restaurant’s signature warm-toned interiors — leather booths, a large wraparound bar and a raw bar that invites guests to linger. The new location also includes an outdoor patio, designed for both lively happy hours and relaxed dinners.

Vandelay’s Footprint Continues To Grow

The opening in Frisco marks Vandelay Hospitality Group’s 21st restaurant across its growing portfolio. The group’s concepts include Drake’s Hollywood, D.L. Mack’s, Brentwood, Jack & Harry’s, Anchor Sushi Bar, Slider & Blues and Bar Sardine.

Hours And Happy Hour

Hudson House Frisco will be open Sunday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Happy hour runs weekdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the bar, featuring $10 cheeseburgers, $3 oysters, half-price martinis, bellinis and wines by the glass.
