The National Ballet of Texas is dedicated to enriching the North Texas community with exceptional artistry and creativity through both classical and contemporary ballet. NBT will make its debut on August 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Courtyard Theater in Plano. The inaugural performance, titled Poetic Beginnings, promises an evening of contemporary dance featuring new works by all-female choreographers. Adding to the artistic richness of the event is an orchestral interlude by Resonance Collective and select poetry readings by actor Monalisa Amidar.
A reception will follow at ArtCentre of Plano, located across from the theater.
