DIVE Coastal Cuisine, a health-conscious eatery located in Dallas’ Snider Plaza, recently introduced the food specials that it will be serving throughout the month of February.
For starters, the restaurant announced that it will be offering guests a comforting White Bean and Kale Soup, as well as a charcuterie salad — topped with prosciutto, grapes, burrata and microgreens paired with hot honey and a balsamic drizzle — in commemoration of Valentine’s Day.
On the entree side of things, patrons can enjoy either the No Cream Clam Chowder or the hearty Salmon Burger, which is topped with cucumber ribbons, radish microgreens, wasabi aioli, cilantro sweet chili and ponzu on a brioche bun.
The limited-time dishes were created by Franchesca Nor, the owner and head chef at DIVE Coastal Cuisine.
Born and raised in Southern California, Nor graduated at the top of her class at Johnson & Wales University, and was then mentored by a number of culinary experts — including Chef Alan Susser (founder of the Mango Gang in Florida) and Chef Andrea Curto-Randazzo (winner of Food and Wine Magazine's Best New Chef award), among others.
According to a release, Nor thoughtfully chooses each ingredient that goes into her dishes, implementing a menu that is inspired by the chef’s childhood, travels and culinary education.
DIVE Coastal Cuisine can be found at 3404 Rankin Street, Dallas, and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (closed on Sundays).
