What do you get when you mix skate culture, a Michelin-starred chef and a wagyu cheeseburger that doesn’t mess around? North Texas is to find out.
NADC Burger, the viral fast-casual concept co-founded by pro skateboarder Neen Williams and chef Phillip Frankland Lee, opens its Uptown Dallas location on August 15 at 2908 McKinney Avenue. This marks the brand’s ninth U.S. location, and its fourth in Texas, with a simple two-item menu that’s become a cult favorite from Austin to New York.
The Burger With A Backstory
The NADC name stands for “Not a Damn Chance,” which is exactly what Williams and Lee gave anyone trying to mess with their vision of the perfect backyard burger. What started as a casual conversation over dinner at Lee’s Sushi by Scratch Restaurants, a Michelin-starred tasting menu concept, evolved into a bold burger joint backed by serious culinary chops.
Each burger features double 100% wagyu beef patties grilled with onions, topped with American cheese, housemade pickles, secret sauce and pickled jalapeños. Fries are double-fried in beef tallow. The whole menu? A cheeseburger ($16), fries ($5) or go “Beast Mode” ($8), and a chocolate chip cookie ($4). That’s it.

Skatepark Vibes, Scratch-Level Details
Unlike Lee’s omakase counters and Pasta|Bar (which holds a Michelin star in both L.A. and Austin), NADC doesn’t do 25-course menus. The Dallas spot will feature counter service, late-night hours and a full bar. Cocktails include the “Deathwish,” named after Williams’ skate career, with tropical flavors and a splash of boba.
The interior, designed by Scratch’s in-house team, leans into laid-back skate energy with art by Dallas muralist Scott Tarbox, indoor-outdoor seating and a vibe that favors Vans over velvet banquettes.
Why Dallas, Why Now
With North Texas already home to locations in Fort Worth and Austin, Dallas was the natural next step. The burger itself has traveled, popping up everywhere from Chicago to Resorts World in Las Vegas, and even made it onto Jelly Roll’s menu at Goodnight Nashville (he called it his favorite burger).
Delivery will be available via ChowNow and Grubhub. Free and paid parking is offered for dine-in guests.
