Omni PGA Frisco Tees Up Brand New Food Festival

This spring, great chefs will gather at the resort and make deliciousness

The inaugural SAVOR festival is set to take over the Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa from May 1-4, 2025, offering four days of fine dining, live music and celebrity golf. Featuring renowned chefs, award-winning musicians and Hollywood personalities, the event promises an immersive experience celebrating Texas flavors and hospitality.

A Celebration of Texas Flavors

The festival kicks off on May 1, at 7 p.m. with the Masters of Taste Dinner, a four-course experience featuring expertly paired signature cocktails. Guests will enjoy interactive hors d’oeuvres, a gourmet entrée and dessert while enjoying an acoustic set by country artist D. Vincent Williams, performing hits from country and rock legends. Tickets are priced at $550 per person.

On May 2, the Fork & Fire Reception takes over The Dance Floor in the PGA District at 7 p.m. This outdoor dining experience highlights open-flame cooking stations, craft cocktails and live music. Guests can expect an indulgent night under the Texas sky, with tickets available for $295 per person.

Tee Off with the Stars

You? Me? Maybe! Golf enthusiasts can join Hollywood celebrities, television personalities and sports legends at the SAVOR Celebrity Golf Invitational on May 3, at the Fields Ranch West course. Designed by renowned architect Beau Welling, this 18-hole, par-72 course features rolling terrain and native Texas landscapes. 

Confirmed participants include co-host of Entertainment Tonight Nischelle Turner, Good Morning America co-host and member of the NFL Hall of Fame, Michael Strahan, actor and comedian Rob Riggle, actor and comedian Anthony Anderson, actress and writer Aimee Garcia and former NFL player Jim Jeffcoat. Spectator access is available.

Famed Chefs and Country Music

Following the golf tournament, the Best of Texas Reception showcases the state's top culinary talent. Guests will sample regional dishes crafted by acclaimed chefs John Tesar, Dean Fearing and Joe Riojas, complemented by local beer, wine and signature cocktails. The evening, hosted by renowned mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim, features a live performance by dynamic country trio Midland. Tickets for this event are $395 per person. 

On May 4, the festival closes with the Margaritas & Mariachis Celebrity Brunch at 10 a.m., a Tex-Mex-inspired feast featuring award-winning chef Aarón Sánchez. Guests will enjoy handcrafted cocktails, live mariachi music and a DJ set in a lively atmosphere. Tickets are $195 per person.

  • Chef Shota Nakajima – James Beard nominee; Top Chef finalist; runs Taku in Seattle.
  • Chef Kwame Onwuachi – James Beard Award winner; leads Tatiana in New York.
  • Elizabeth Blau – James Beard nominee; co-founder of Crown Block, Dallas.
  • Jillian Vose – Led The Dead Rabbit to World's Best Bar award.
  • Chef Kim Canteenwalla – Co-founder of Blau + Associates; chef at Crown Block, Dallas.

A Commitment to Community

A portion of the proceeds from SAVOR will benefit the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB), which has been fighting hunger in the region since 1982. NTFB serves 13 counties and provided more than 106 million meals in its last fiscal year. Through partnerships with nearly 500 food pantries and organizations, NTFB continues to support thousands of food-insecure individuals across North Texas.

Luxury Accommodations at Omni PGA Frisco

Guests looking for an immersive experience can stay at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa, recently named a Travel + Leisure World's Best 2024 Winner. The resort offers 500 guest rooms, 10 exclusive ranch villas and two championship golf courses. Room rates start at $249 per night.
