Next week, Frisco becomes the center of the U.S. golf retail industry as it hosts the 2025 PGA Buying Summit at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort. Running from July 28 to 30, the annual event brings nearly 1,000 attendees from 36 states and nine countries, with key buyers representing more than $525 million in golf retail sales.
The Summit offers early access to the latest innovations from 187 top golf brands, including 26 based in Texas, and marks another milestone for the city as a national player in the golf economy.
Home of the PGA of America, Hub of Golf Commerce
With a direct annual impact of $102 billion, the U.S. golf economy continues to grow, and PGA Frisco is rapidly emerging as a critical hub. Dubbed the “Silicon Valley of Golf,” the state-of-the-art campus now plays host to elite industry events like the PGA Buying Summit, helping to shape everything from product design to retail trends.
This year’s event features exclusive previews of Spring 2026 gear, fashion shows, professional education sessions and one-on-one networking opportunities with PGA of America executives, brand leaders and golf innovators.
Summer Jam Golf Festival Opens to Public
For the first time, the PGA Buying Summit is adding a public-facing component: the Summer Jam Golf Festival, a free, family-friendly celebration on July 29 from 7 to 10:30 p.m. in the PGA District. Supported by MyShop, the festival includes live music from the Emerald City Band, interactive golf contests, lessons from PGA Professionals, product showcases and giveaways.
