The Legacy Senior Communities revealed plans for a 30-unit expansion of independent living at The Legacy Willow Bend, their primary community in Plano, Texas.
With its hybrid-home layout, the expansion will provide the privacy of a single-family home while fostering a sense of community and security through proximity to neighbors. The project will revitalize various amenity spaces on the campus, benefiting current residents and bolstering Plano's economy by expanding housing choices.

The expansion will consist of three buildings, each housing 10 luxury flats and 30 hybrid-style independent living luxury flats, averaging about 2,000 square feet per unit. Residents will also engage in the renowned Life Care agreement offered by Willow Bend, guaranteeing predictable costs and securing future care.
Under the guidance of the acclaimed HKS Architects & Design, the expansion features low-density, condominium-style buildings, offering corner views in every unit to optimize natural light and scenic surroundings.
Every luxury flat will boast an open-concept layout, complete with generous bedrooms, walk-in closets, and upscale designer touches. Prospective residents who secure early reservations will have the opportunity to personalize their flats, selecting finishes that align with their preferences.
Sales for the expansion waitlist will begin on February 27, with construction set to commence in the initial quarter of 2025. Securing a spot on the expansion waitlist necessitates a fully refundable deposit of $1,000. Those on the waitlist will be contacted in chronological order for an exclusive preview of the finalized plans, with the chance to reserve a particular luxury flat.
