Green space, a playscape and more than two miles of trails. These are just some of the unique features at Baylor Scott & White Health’s new campus in North Frisco, designed to emphasize wellness and prevention and to serve the expanding North Texas region.
“Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Frisco at PGA Parkway is more than a hospital — it’s an experience-driven medical center, focused long-term on education, research and innovation,” said Ryan Gebhart, president of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Frisco at PGA Parkway.
Located at the corner of Dallas North Tollway and PGA Parkway, this 40-acre healthcare destination will open this summer, offering innovative spaces plus services to support individuals and families at every stage. "Our approach to wellness is intentional throughout the details on our campus, from our designated playscape for families with active children, to the name of our main street: Everwell Lane,” said Gebhart.
The medical center will feature the Women and Infant Center, an entire floor dedicated to women, thoughtfully designed to provide growing families a personalized experience from arrival through departure.
“Our commitment to patients and families will be reflected in every detail, enhancing the birth experience for the families we serve,” said Naima Bridges, MD, chair of the department of women and children at Baylor Scott & White – Frisco at PGA Parkway. “When women’s health improves, families and communities thrive.”
Care will continue to expand for patients with emergency needs, cardiovascular conditions, digestive diseases, neurological conditions, oncology services as well as orthopedic care needs.
Legacy of care, commitment to service
This region is one of the fastest growing in the country. As the largest not-for-profit health system in Texas, Baylor Scott & White has served Texans for over 100 years. Their surpluses are reinvested into new facilities, advanced technology, clinical research, education and workforce growth to enhance care capabilities.
Baylor Scott & White – Frisco at PGA Parkway is designed to meet the region’s rapidly growing healthcare needs. “Our vision is ‘Empowering You to Live Well,’ and we are committed to meeting the evolving needs of our growing communities,” Gebhart explained.
“Growth isn’t just about new buildings — it’s about creating meaningful care experiences,” Gebhart said. “We deliver high-quality care wherever patients need it — whether in a hospital, on their smartphones or at home. We also have a focus on virtual care through MyBSWHealth app, including 24/7 access for all Texans – you can download the app even if you aren’t yet a Baylor Scott & White patient.”
Once a visit is scheduled with a Baylor Scott & White provider, the doors are open to a comprehensive network of primary care and specialty care teams. Whether care needs are simple or complex, a team with a complete view of each patient’s health works collaboratively to discover the best path forward.
As Gebhart said, “Our goal is clear: make healthcare more accessible, personalized, and easier to navigate for North Texas families, and we’re committed to this.”
