The 3rd Annual Juneteenth Fashion Experience will take place on Saturday, June 15, at Legacy Hall in the Lexus Box Garden in Plano. Produced by Think Three Media, this event celebrates Black excellence and benefits the National Juneteenth Museum.
The fashion show will feature twelve North Texas designers, including ready-to-wear designer Stephen Goudeau and the celebrity-favored accessory brand AND MADE. This year introduces a segment honoring Black haircare and beauty, with a showcase by award-winning hair care wellness brand NU Standard and a special appearance by Keya Neal of The Kolour Kulture and founder of Texture Vs. Race.
Continuing its commitment to nurturing young talent, the show will once again spotlight aspiring student designers from Cedar Hill High School, with one student receiving a $500 scholarship. The evening will be hosted by media personality Lady Jade and Project Runway Season 17 alumnus Venny Etienne.
"I am thankful to Legacy West and Legacy Hall for their partnership once again in helping to bring my vision to life. This is an annual show that everyone looks forward to,” said Leah Frazier, CEO of Think Three Media. “I am honored to continually bring this level of Black Excellence to our community. The energy is contagious — inspiring the crowd to live more beautifully, boldly, and joyfully."
A pop-up market featuring products from twelve Black-owned businesses will be available before and after the show. Tickets range from $20 for general admission to $375 for a VIP table seating eight.
