In the wake of devastating floods that struck the Texas Hill Country, communities across the state are coming together to help those affected. Galleria Dallas is leading the charge locally with a creative, family-friendly fundraiser.
On July 15, Galleria Dallas will donate 100% of admission proceeds from its Ice Skating Center to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, a nonprofit directing funds to vetted rescue, relief, and recovery organizations in the flood zone.
To amplify the effort, Galleria Dallas’ management company, Trademark Property Company, pledged to match all funds raised, doubling the impact.
“It’s been said that in moments like these, we are not strangers, but one community,” said Galleria General Manager Angie Freed. “Texas is hurting and so many have been affected by the flooding and tragic loss of life in Texas Hill Country. It’s time to wrap those who are grieving with our thoughts and actions.”
The donation days fall on the skate center’s two-for-one Tuesdays, making it easier for families and friends to contribute while enjoying a day out.
