Frisco-based entertainment powerhouse Dude Perfect is taking its high-energy antics global this fall with the release of Dude Perfect: The Hero Tour.
Partnering with Regal Cinemas, the group will bring their fan-favorite live show — and plenty of behind-the-scenes surprises — to hundreds of theaters worldwide starting Sept. 26.
The film is a direct response to overwhelming fan demand after their sold-out 20-city live tour, which reached just 18 of the top 50 U.S. media markets. Now, families who couldn’t make it to the arena can still experience the Dudes’ trademark battles, comedy and heart, this time on the silver screen.
From Arena Floors To Movie Theaters
The Hero Tour isn’t just a recording of the live event. It’s a full-scale, immersive experience designed for both casual viewers and die-hard superfans. Audiences will see action-packed competitions, cinematic highlights from the tour, exclusive backstage footage and guest-star cameos — elements designed to capture the energy that has made Dude Perfect a global sensation.
“Our fans are the heartbeat of everything we do,” said Coby Cotton of Dude Perfect in an official statement. “We wanted to create something just as epic for families who couldn’t make the tour. If you can’t come to us, we’ll bring the show to you — bigger, louder and with surprises you won’t see anywhere else.”
A Strategic Leap For Creator-Led Entertainment
The film’s rapid turnaround, just over two months from live performance to theatrical release, demonstrates Dude Perfect’s ability to adapt quickly and experiment with new formats. It’s part of a broader strategy to extend creator-led entertainment into physical spaces where families can gather.
Just like what the Dudes are doing at the brand new Frisco HQ. As Local Profile previously reported, the new headquarters functions as a hub for content creation, hosts community events featuring high school and professional athletes and includes a retail store along with dedicated areas for podcasts and gaming.
Andrew Yaffe, CEO of Dude Perfect, sees this as a new frontier. “We believe that sports and friendly competition drive human connection, and our tour, and the tens of thousands of screaming families who attended, is proof of that,” he said. “We're always looking for more ways to bring fans more of what they love from Dude Perfect in new formats that are scalable, immersive and creatively energizing."
Regal Partnership Brings The Vision To Life
Regal Cinemas, along with Variance Films, will distribute The Hero Tour and showcase it alongside other major theater chains like AMC and Cinemark. Adam Rymer, chief commercial officer for Regal Cineworld Group, praised the collaboration: “They are a seminal group of creators who helped define a medium. We’re excited to bring this special theatrical experience to the big screen and make it a one-of-a-kind event.”
For Frisco residents, the global release is a proud moment. From YouTube trick shots filmed in a backyard to international theatrical premieres, Dude Perfect continues to prove that local creativity can make a world-sized splash.
The rollout will kick off with an exclusive premiere in Los Angeles before expanding to theaters worldwide from Sept. 26 through Oct. 9, 2025. Tickets will be on sale soon. Sign up here to be notified when tickets are available.
