If you’ve been dreaming of chanting in the stands, face painted and all, your chance is almost here. FIFA World Cup 26 tickets officially go on sale Sept. 10, 2025, kicking off the first draw application window for what’s set to be the biggest tournament the world has ever seen.

To get in on the action, fans must register now at FIFA.com/tickets and create a FIFA ID. That step gets you in line for your first shot at tickets when the window opens.

The Countdown Is On

“Following the incredible success of the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, excitement is reaching new heights for the FIFA World Cup 26,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino in an official statement. “We encourage fans everywhere to get ready to secure their place — these will be the most coveted seats in world sport.”

The scale is unprecedented: FIFA expects 6.5 million fans to attend matches in person across North America. FIFA advises early registration to ensure you’re notified of upcoming sales phases, requirements and next steps.

How to Play the Ticket Game

Tickets will roll out in phases, each with its own rules, payment options and offerings. FIFA promises more details soon, but your first task is simple: register early so you don’t miss your cue.

For those who want to cheer on their favorite nation, hospitality packages are already up for grabs at FIFA.com/hospitality, including Follow My Team options that keep you close to the action, provided your team makes it through.

FIFA also reminds fans to buy only from official sources. Tickets or packages from third-party sellers might leave you stuck outside the stadium instead of inside, chanting your heart out.

North Texas Gears Up for 2026

While Arlington’s AT&T Stadium will host nine World Cup matches — more than any other venue — Frisco is shaping up to be a key player off the pitch. Toyota Stadium, home to FC Dallas, will serve as a FIFA-designated base camp, hosting a top-ranked team for training and recovery. A $180 million renovation is underway to upgrade seating, suites and fan amenities.

Frisco leaders are also betting big on community spaces. The city broke ground last year on a $68 million redevelopment of its Rail District, aimed at transforming downtown into a walkable hub for fans to watch matches, dine and explore between games.

Dallas is preparing on a global scale. The city will host FIFA’s International Broadcast Center and has debuted its official World Cup poster, designed by Fort Worth artist Matt Cliff, and a custom Dallas Sonic ID, produced by Grammy-winner Tre Nagella. Together, these projects reflect North Texas' ambition to make 2026 a showcase of sport, culture and community.

Next Steps

The final draw for FIFA World Cup 26 will take place in December 2025, after which teams will be assigned to specific fixtures, venues and kick-off times. While tickets will secure access to matches, entry into host countries is subject to immigration requirements. FIFA encourages all ticket holders to consult host country government websites for travel guidelines.

If you’re aiming for the best seat (or just a seat), don’t wait. Visit FIFA.com/tickets, sign up and get your FIFA ID now.
