For over 35 years, Addison has been dishing out one of the most authentic Oktoberfest parties outside of Munich. Think polka bands, Bavarian dancers, carnival rides and more bratwurst than you can handle. Test your strength in a stein-holding contest, cheer on the dachshund races or just kick back with schnitzel and a frosty Paulaner. Dirndl, lederhosen or jeans — it’s all fair game. Just don’t forget to say “Prost!”
Ice House Oktoberfest Beer Dinner

Beer lovers, this one’s for you. PGA Frisco’s Ice House is teaming up with Martin House Brewing Co. for an Oktoberfest-inspired dinner packed with bold bites and craft brews. Think smoked brisket, artisan sausages, warm pretzels and more — all paired with Martin House favorites ranging from crisp and hoppy to malty and rich. Along the way, the brewers will share stories, flavors and a peek into their creative process.
18th Annual McKinney Oktoberfest

Downtown McKinney is about to transform into a Bavarian village for three days of Oktoberfest fun. Community Beer Co. is going all out for Oktoberfest weekend with German-style brews, Bavarian eats, live music and plenty of games and contests to keep the fun flowing. Saturday brings the biggest festivities, including stein-hoisting, Hammerschlagen and the return of Barktoberfest with adoptable pups and a pet-friendly market. Come hungry for pretzels and schnitzel, stay for the beer flights and don’t miss Sunday’s Oktoberfest brunch. Admission is free, but limited-edition steins (with your first pour) are up for grabs.
