Dallas officially secured its place among the world’s wealthiest cities, according to the newly released World’s Wealthiest Cities Report 2025 by Henley & Partners, produced in collaboration with New World Wealth.

The annual global ranking highlights the top 50 cities based on resident millionaires, and this year, Dallas stood out — boasting a staggering 85% growth in its millionaire population in the last decade.

Dallas Among Global Leaders in Wealth Growth

With 72,400 millionaires, 135 centi-millionaires (individuals with $100 million or more in assets) and 16 billionaires now calling the city home, Dallas ranks ninth on the list of the fastest-growing millionaire cities in the world. It joins other high-growth markets like Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Dubai and Miami.

The Bay Area leads the U.S. in total wealth numbers, but when it comes to growth, Dallas is keeping pace with powerhouse cities across China and the United Arab Emirates.

The Rise of North Texas Suburbs

While Dallas is capturing international attention, its surrounding suburbs are quietly emerging as local wealth magnets. A recent study named Celina and Prosper among the fastest-growing wealthy suburbs in the country.

Celina is seeing an explosive 190% population increase year-over-year, fueled by rapid development, strong schools and family-friendly amenities. The median household income is now $155,875, with average home values topping $611,000.

Prosper isn’t far behind. With a population jump of 81%, a median household income of $187,603, and average home prices exceeding $823,000, the affluent suburb continues to attract high-income professionals seeking luxury homes and a close-knit community.

Ten years ago, few could have predicted this level of growth. In 2015, Celina was a quiet town of just over 8,000 residents; today it’s more than 60,000 strong. Prosper grew from 16,000 to nearly 49,000 over the same period.

As North Texas continues to evolve, Dallas and its surrounding cities are redefining what it means to live — and thrive — in one of America’s fastest-growing wealth hubs. And with no signs of slowing down, the region’s rise appears to be just getting started.
