Golf under the stars? That’s exactly what’s in store when the Summer Jam Golf Festival returns to PGA Frisco on July 29. The event kicks off at 7 p.m. and transforms the PGA District into a high-energy playground for golf lovers, families and industry pros alike.
Best of all, it’s free and open to the public.
The festival is part of the PGA Buying Summit, but this portion invites everyone to come play, listen, shop and sip.
A Jam-Packed Night of Golf, Games and Music
Live music is front and center, with North Texas fan favorite Emerald City Band hitting the stage for a night of dancing.
Golf contests run throughout the evening:
- Long Putt Challenge presented by MACHINE Putters offers prizes and a shot at $2,500, courtesy of American Hole’n One.
- 9-Hole Putting Course tests all-around putting skills, with prizes for the lowest scores.
- Summer Shootout pairs PGA Summit attendees in a team competition for the Summer Shootout Cup. RSVP here.
- Hole-in-One Challenge offers a $5,000 prize for the lucky player who sinks the perfect shot.
Guests can also get swing tips at the PGA of America Coaching Center powered by T-Mobile. On-site pros will offer light instruction, long drive contests, closest-to-the-pin shootouts and more.
Festival Village: The Heart of the Action
Festival Village brings hands-on fun with activations and demos across the PGA District’s Dance Floor Event Lawn and Putting Green.
Attendees can check out the latest in golf apparel, accessories and equipment, interact with brand reps and score exclusive product drops and giveaways. Among the featured brands: Branded Bills (official headwear sponsor), Stanley 1913 (official drinkware sponsor), Blue Tees Golf (official rangefinder and golf speaker) and more.
A Public Party with VIP Perks for Pros
While Summer Jam is open to all, PGA Professionals and Summit attendees can access VIP networking spaces, free food and drinks, and premium contests.
For industry insiders, the Summer Jam wraps up the three-day PGA Buying Summit, a key midseason event for PGA members and golf retailers. From July 28-30, the summit features education sessions, new product showcases and networking events across the PGA Frisco campus.
