TEDxPlano officially revealed its 2025 speaker lineup — and it's packed with innovators, educators and changemakers from across North Texas and beyond.
Set for June 26, this year’s event returns to the Robinson Fine Arts Center in Plano, under the theme Dream. Plan. Do. Attendees can expect a full day of bold ideas, community connection and the kind of thought-provoking talks that spark action.
What Is TEDx?
If you’ve watched a TED Talk, you know the format: short, thought-provoking talks built around “ideas worth spreading.” TEDx events are local, independently organized offshoots that follow the same structure but focus on community voices.
Every speaker at TEDxPlano was selected for their unique ideas and potential to inspire action, making this event a powerful, local gathering where ideas come to life. And just like TED, the goal is to spark conversations, build connections and ignite meaningful change.
Meet the Speakers
The 2025 lineup features a diverse mix of thought leaders, changemakers and first-time speakers from across North Texas and beyond.
- Dr. Sai Balasubramanian, a healthcare and AI expert, will dive into how artificial intelligence is reshaping medicine.
- Trey Bowles, co-founder of The DEC Network, brings insight into building purpose-driven business ecosystems.
- Dr. Khimen Cooper shares his bold take on rewriting the rules of modern education.
- Dr. Eric Kildebeck explores AI’s role in personalized learning.
Also on stage:
- Tejasvi Manoj, a high school student and rising voice in cybersecurity, presents her work protecting older adults from digital threats.
- Pam Rosener, founder of Young Men’s Service League, shares how intergenerational service fosters leadership.
- Cheryl “Action” Jackson, a powerhouse social entrepreneur, whose talk on resilience and community support promises to leave a lasting impression.
More Than Just Talks
TEDxPlano is more than a series of talks, it’s an immersive experience. The lobby opens at 2 p.m. with interactive exhibits from local innovators and makers. Guests can explore hands-on installations, meet creators and test emerging technologies. Past editions have included everything from robotics demos to healthcare tech previews — and this year promises even more surprises.
At 4 p.m., the doors to the main stage open. By 5 p.m., the lights dim and the speakers take the spotlight.
Why You Shouldn’t Miss It
According to organizers, “TEDxPlano is more than a stage, it’s a space to ask questions, imagine new possibilities and take action that creates real change.”
Whether you’re dreaming big, planning your next move, or ready to take action, this is where you’ll find your spark.
