Six Flags Over Texas is bringing back its annual Fright Fest, presented by Snickers, for a spine-tingling run from Sept. 12 to Nov. 2, 2025. The Arlington park promises a full Halloween takeover with haunted mazes, scare zones, live shows, themed food and drinks and more than 100 rides operating after dark.
Haunted Mazes: New And Familiar Nightmares
This year’s lineup features six haunted mazes, each requiring a Haunted Attraction Pass for entry. Two are new to 2025:
- The Strangers: No Escape, inspired by the films The Strangers: Chapters 1 & 2, places visitors in a relentless cat-and-mouse game with the masked figures.
- Eversmile Industries, presented by M&M’S, offers a factory tour gone wrong, blending cheerful aesthetics with hidden horrors.
Returning favorites include SAW: Legacy of Terror, The Conjuring Universe, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022) and Terror at the Polynesian Palm.
Scare Zones Across The Park
Fright Fest will also unleash five scare zones starting at 7 p.m., each crawling with costumed actors and fog-filled theatrics. New additions include:
- Forsaken Fairgrounds, where twisted clowns haunt a cursed carnival.
- Plague, featuring masked doctors amid a deadly fog.
- The Last Harvest, presented by Snickers, where scarecrows stalk the cursed fields.
They’ll join returning zones Trick ‘r Treat and Outlaws Revenge.

Live Shows And Family Options
Guests can also catch live performances like Toxicity, a circus-style spectacle set in a post-apocalyptic world. Roaming entertainers will keep the scares going throughout the park.
For families, daytime activities include a Trick-or-Treat Trail, a skeleton dance party, a costume contest and live music from The Spectral Sisters. Kids Boo Fest and Oktoberfest round out the fall lineup for those seeking less frightful fun.
Tickets and Passes
Park admission includes rides, scare zones and most shows. Haunted mazes require a separate Haunted Attractions Pass, available as a single-night or all-season option.
Gold and Prestige Pass holders can enjoy unlimited visits through 2026, along with added perks such as complimentary parking and bring-a-friend tickets. For the complete list of attractions, tickets and passes, click here.
