Plano is about to become a portal to another world. Starting October 15, Dungeons & Dragons: The Immersive Quest will debut its first U.S. location at 2712 N. Central Expressway, bringing the legendary tabletop game to life in a fully interactive experience.
“For more than 50 years, Dungeons & Dragons has united millions of players through epic storytelling, boundless imagination and the thrill of adventure,” said Matt Proulx, senior vice president of global experiences at Hasbro, in an official statement. “After enchanting fans in Canada, The Immersive Quest is now inviting U.S. fans to step inside the story, become the heroes of their own quest and see the magic of D&D come alive like never before.”
The Immersive Quest is designed for both diehard fans and newcomers. You don’t need to know the rules of D&D to play, just a sense of adventure. According to the official website, “This isn’t just a game — it’s a live, interactive fantasy quest where every choice shapes your destiny.”

Choose Your Path
The 16,000-square-foot adventure is designed for all ages and lasts about 60 minutes. Attendees begin their journey by choosing a role — rogue, druid, fighter or wizard — which shapes their powers and path.
The quest kicks off inside the storied Yawning Portal Tavern before sending participants through dungeons and mythical realms. Along the way, they’ll solve puzzles, face iconic creatures such as the Beholder and the Gelatinous Cube, and ultimately confront a dragon in the climactic finale.
Afterward, guests can unwind in the Waterdeep marketplace with themed food, drinks and merchandise. Dedicated spaces will also be available for tabletop play, giving fans a chance to extend their adventure.

A Global Phenomenon Comes To Texas
Following its debut in Toronto, the Plano run marks the U.S. launch of The Immersive Quest. Eric Brouillet, founder of Vibrant Studios, the group behind the experience, said every detail was crafted for authenticity. “Every element has been thoughtfully designed, immersing both longtime fans and first-timers into the rich and dynamic world of D&D. This is an epic adventure for the whole family.”
The attraction will remain in Plano for four months before traveling to its next U.S. city, according to the statement.
