It’s that time of the year when everyone is full of cheer! The holidays are here and the Galleria in Dallas is full of awesome events and activities do to with your family, friends and kids. In fact, Galleria Dallas is considered a top holiday destination location for shoppers all across North Texas and even around the world. They have held this standard for over thirty years. All things are done big, just like Texas—from the enormous 95-foot Christmas tree, to the ice skating Santa who shoots fireworks from his skates. These holiday celebrations are sure to put a smile on your face. In early November, the season kicked off with the decorating of America’s tallest indoor Christmas tree, which is adorned with close to a quarter million lights and 10,000 ornaments. The holiday festivities continue through January 3, so be sure to take advantage of at least a couple of the awesome, upcoming events.
Countless shoppers are excited about the large amounts of sales and promotions that are offered on Black Friday, November 27. Two Olympic Gold Medalists, Charlie White and Meryl Davis, will present the Macy’s Grand Tree Lighting Celebration that day, along with other local and national skating celebs.
The entire mall is fully decorated throughout, including its shopping and dining areas of more than 200 retailers. Covered parking of over 10,000 spots and the Westin Galleria hotel that is adjoined to the shopping center makes it convenient for both those that are there for a shopping trip or those that want to make it a weekend mini-vacation. Enjoy all the season has to offer, including extended holiday hours, while checking off the gift list!
