Jon Smith Subs Opens First Frisco Restaurant

The restaurant offers a variety of made-to-order, giant grilled and deli subs that are stacked with fresh, premium ingredients

Jon Smith Subs, a restaurant chain that offers high-quality sandwiches, recently opened up its first-ever location in Frisco, Texas.

Located at 5001 Panther Creek Parkway, Suite 400, Jon Smith Subs’ menu consists of a variety of made-to-order, giant grilled and deli subs that are stacked with fresh, premium ingredients — which are prepared in-house.

Among the restaurant’s sandwich offerings include the infamous Steak Bomb, which comes with a heaping portion of marinated sirloin steak, grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, bacon, tomatoes and provolone cheese; as well as classics such as The Cuban and The Reuben.   

Kevin and Jennifer Sinker, residents of Texas for more than six years now, are the franchise owners of the new Frisco eatery. Having worked in the restaurant industry for several years — with experience in deli operations, distribution, supply and inventory to food prep, bartending, serving and more — the couple had always aspired to run a business of their own.

Once Kevin and Jennifer discovered franchising opportunities with Jon Smith Subs, they just knew they had to take it, and now that the couple are in their dream position, they are excited to plant their roots in Frisco and give back to the community.

“We are true sandwich-lovers, so it made sense for us to start our own sub shop,” said Kevin Sinker. “We’re thrilled to share our passion with the community and use our expertise to provide a fresh, new dining option to the Frisco-area.” 

Under Indigo Hospitality Group’s ownership, Jon Smith Subs continues to grow both nationally and internationally, with franchises opening up in several different regions, including Texas, Georgia, Florida, California, up north in Canada, along with overseas in the United Kingdom, among others.
