Plano, Texas’ Most Expensive Home For Sale

The owner is asking $5,995,000

Situated on Sudbury Road, a massive property was recently listed for sale on Zillow. With a price tag of $5,995,000, it may seem steep, but the numerous amenities and updated features more than justify the cost.

Spanning an impressive 13,007 square feet, this residence includes five spacious bedrooms and seven bathrooms, according to real estate agent, Alex Perry with Allie Beth Allman and Associates (via Iowa Media). Also on the property is a statement staircase, gym, office, large pool and a home theater with a concession area. The home is also equipped with a massive walk-in closet, game room, wine cooler, outdoor kitchen, marble features and an outdoor living area.

On top of the large price tag, there are quarterly HOA fees amounting to $1,984. When it comes to the mortgage, the future owner can expect to pay approximately $44,603 each month.

Perry believes the home will sell quickly — potentially in less than 30 days. According to Zillow, the home will sell faster than 83% of the homes in the area. “We have a lot of inquiries,” Perry told Local Profile.

The home, built in 2001, is a project by well-known builder Simmie Cooper and offers panoramic skyline views from the backyard. The lot sits on 0.74 acres and offers four covered garage spaces. “This stunning Mediterranean mansion located in Plano’s exclusive Kings Gate guarded community exudes luxury resort-style living at its finest,” the Zillow page reads.
