Prime Video, in partnership with the Academy of Country Music and producer Dick Clark Productions, officially confirmed the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards scheduled for May 2024, which will be hosted at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
The Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, which was established in 2016, not only serves as the cutting-edge practice facility for the Dallas Cowboys but also hosts numerous significant sporting events annually. The previous edition of the ACM Awards was the inaugural awards show held at the Ford Center.
The renewal follows the successful 58th awards ceremony, hosted by the iconic Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks, which drew a staggering audience of over 7.7 million viewers on Prime Video. The event enjoyed further viewership on Amazon Music, the Amazon Music channel on Twitch and Amazon Live, solidifying the 2023 ACM Awards as one of the year's most-watched awards shows.
The 2022 ACM Awards made history by being the first major awards show to exclusively stream live for a global audience, creating an unforgettable concert experience that placed fans at the center of the action on platforms like Prime Video, Amazon Music, Amazon Fashion, Amazon Freevee, Amazon Live and more. For those who missed last year’s awards ceremony, the 2023 ACM Awards can still be enjoyed on-demand on Prime Video, Amazon Freevee and Amazon Music.
