Blaine Seitz, PGA of America Golf Professional and a fixture in Frisco’s golf community, officially earned the prestigious PGA Master Professional status, the highest educational designation available through the Association.

Seitz, who serves as owner and director of Instruction at TourShotGolf and Master Club Fitter at 2nd Swing within the PGA of America Coaching Center powered by T-Mobile, is only the 475th professional in history to achieve this elite honor. He earned the distinction in the area of teaching and coaching.

“Becoming a PGA Master Professional is not just an achievement, but a realization of who I am and what I am meant to do,” said Seitz. “I’m a big believer that golf isn’t just a game, it’s also a form of therapy. We can use this game to help people get through life.”

A Lifelong Commitment to Coaching

Seitz’s journey began in the PGA Professional Golf Management Program at Coastal Carolina University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing in 2012. A PGA of America Member since 2013, he first worked as a PGA Assistant Golf Professional at The Suburban Club of Baltimore in Pikesville, Maryland. But his passion quickly shifted toward instruction and club fitting, leading him to The Golf Club of Georgia and later to Arccos Golf as a sales rep.

In 2018, Seitz founded TourShotGolf, a program built on his unique background as a CrossFit coach and mobility specialist. He integrated those techniques into his golf instruction, helping players enhance their performance while minimizing injury.

A Holistic Approach to Peak Performance

Seitz developed a training philosophy built around five key pillars: mindset, wellness, mobility, fitness and play. His holistic approach has earned him recognition across the golf industry. He is a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) fitness coach, a certified mobility specialist and a four-time Golf Fitness Association of America Top Golf Fitness Professional (2021–24). He’s also been named to Golf Digest’s “Top 100 Club Fitter” (2021–23) and “Best Clubfitters in America” (2023–24) lists.

After joining 2nd Swing in Maryland in 2021, Seitz transferred to the Dallas location in 2023 and made the move to the PGA of America Coaching Center in 2024, just as 2nd Swing became the official equipment trade-in partner of the Association.

Dedicated to the Future of Golf

With more than a decade of experience and a relentless drive to grow the game, Seitz sees his new designation as the culmination of years of work and the beginning of a new chapter.

“I moved here to Texas to be with the PGA and put myself in a position to get this done,” he said. “It’s been a big process to this point and it’s a true honor.”

Now based in the North Texas area, Seitz continues to serve as a leading voice in golf instruction, blending tradition with innovation to elevate both the player and the game.
