As Local Profile recently reported, Darna Mediterranean Eatery and Market in Plano's Legacy West is now Darna Mediterranean Eatery and Bar. To help mark the newly minted name, the eatery and bar has a great deal: dollar slices of pizza with the purchase of a drink.

DRINK COST: Cocktails start at $12, glasses of wine at $11, beer at $7 and mocktails at $6.

During happy hour, which is Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., customers who order wine, beer, a cocktail or a mocktail can get a slice of Sicilian square pizza for just one dollar. This is a terrific deal, because not is the pizza delicious, it's also filling! Depending on how much you eat, one might be perfect (but three was a good number for me!).
Darna has long done the drinks part right: Their drinks program is fantastic. The eatery and bar recently rolled out a handful of new drinks, including Garden of Gibraltar, the Mediterranean Mule and the Sicilian Spritz — all of which pair well with the pizza.
