Collin College's Plano Campus is hosting a Workforce Fair from March 25-28, offering virtual and in-person sessions. The fair aims to inform attendees about degree and certificate programs tailored to meet the demands of today's job market.

The Workforce Fair is set to unfold over three days. Participants can delve into 16 virtual open houses, providing a convenient platform to discover various programs from the comfort of their homes.

The in-person fair is slated for March 28, from 1-3 p.m., at the campus located at 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. This segment offers a unique opportunity for direct interaction with professors, enabling attendees to gain deeper insights into the offerings and chart their career paths accordingly. All sessions, including the in-person fair, are open to the public and come at no cost.

Designed to fast-track individuals into the workforce, the programs spotlight specific marketable skills, often culminating in certificates achievable in as little as one year. Their stackable nature sets these offerings apart, allowing learners to accumulate multiple certificates while earning credits toward an associate degree in their chosen field. Attendees can explore options such as American Sign Language/Interpreter Training, Banking and Financial Services, Biotechnology, Business Management and more.
