From now through Halloween, the Crayola Experience in Plano will be “chalk-full” of several colorful activities to get residents in the spirit of the spooky season.
As part of its month-long Screamin' Green Hauntoween event, the Crayola-themed attraction is hosting a number of ghostly offerings that are sure to provide family-friendly fun for all.
In traditional Halloween fashion, the Crayola Experience is giving guests the chance to engage in some trick-or-treating over the next couple of weekends, handing out various gifts to both costumed and non-costumed patrons (although costumes are highly encouraged).
Visitors who are more interested in tricking their brains can participate in the theme park’s Halloween scavenger hunt, where they will scour numerous chilling settings to find a variety of hidden items. Once all of the items have been located and returned, the Crayola Experience will give participants a “monster-rific” prize.
For more creative minds, the Crayola Experience is providing several Halloween-themed arts and crafts stations, where guests can concoct creepy creations such as monster masks, bat bookmarks, model spiders, along with paper pumpkins to add to the patch.
In celebration of the haunting holiday, the Crayola Experience is offering a number of limited-time only, seasonal treats that visitors can partake in, including “Swamp Water” beverages and “Spookies & Cream” Dippin Dots. Hungry guests looking to bring a memory home with them can also purchase special souvenir popcorn buckets and drink cups as part of the festivities.
Other frightful activities being offered by the Crayola Experience this month include Halloween photo ops, character meet-and-greets, as well as a special pass holder event on Oct. 20, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., where guests can enjoy after-hours activities, specials and giveaways.
