On Oct. 7, 2023, the sixth annual Frisco Arts Walk and Run will be taking place at Hall Park in support of the local arts.
Each year, the North Texas event brings together the avid walkers and runners of Frisco to participate in a fun race, while also raising funds in support of Frisco Arts Foundation's (arts advocacy organization) various initiatives.
This year, the race route will take participants on a scenic journey through Hall Park's Texas Sculpture Garden, a 162-acre development that contains the largest private collection of contemporary Texas sculptures ever assembled.
In addition to admiring the expertly-crafted works of art, participants will also get to experience several live entertainment performances along the way courtesy of the pop-up musicians, dancers, vocalists, actors, visual artists and more that are slated to be in-attendance.
Performances and interactive arts along the run route including Nutcracker dancers from Collin County Ballet Theatre, singers from Melody of Hope and painters from the Visual Arts Guild.
Prior to the race, runners will be able to pickup their race packets between Oct. 4-6 at Frisco Running Company (9359 Legacy Drive, Frisco 75034). Each packet will include a custom race bib, race t-shirt, as well as a Frisco Arts race bag. In addition to the event swag, all runners and walkers will also receive a medal during the day of the race.
All race category winners will get to choose their favorite unique work of art from local artists to take home. Artists will be onsite to meet and greet the winners for a photo opp as well. The overall male and female winners and masters (40+) winners will receive hand-made glass awards.
