The Academy of Country Music, Prime Video and Dick Clark Productions revealed that the legendary Reba McEntire will take the reins as host for the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards

Reba, making her 17th appearance as host — the most by any artist — brings with her a storied legacy intertwined with Country Music’s Party of the Year. Taking center stage, she promises a dazzling performance featuring new tracks. With an illustrious career, Reba clinched 16 ACM Awards and earned nine nods for the esteemed ACM Entertainer of the Year, snagging the title in 1994. Additionally, she holds the record for the most nominations in the Female Artist of the Year category.

"I am tickled to pieces to get to host the ACM Awards for the 17th time!” Reba McEntire exclaimed. “What an honor to have been part of the past, present and now the future of the Academy of Country Music with Amazon Prime Video. I can’t wait to get to Texas and see everybody May 16th!"

Set to air on Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m., the event will be streamed live worldwide, accessible to audiences across 240+ countries and territories exclusively on Prime Video from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. No Prime membership will be necessary to tune in.

“Reba McEntire is an icon. She is one of the most influential artists in the music industry and we are thrilled to welcome her back as host of the Academy of Country Music Awards,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon MGM Studios. “We look forward to continuing our successful collaboration with the ACM Awards along with harnessing the global strength of Amazon to offer country music’s longest running award show to our audience.”

A select number of tickets for the 59th ACM Awards are up for grabs on SeatGeek, granting fans exclusive access to an unforgettable night filled with their beloved Country artists.

Since its inception in 1966, the Academy of Country Music Awards has remained the longest-standing Country Music awards show. In a groundbreaking move in 2022, it became the first major awards ceremony to stream exclusively, in collaboration with Prime Video. This year, the event returns to Frisco, Texas, for the second consecutive year, following the resounding success of the 2023 show, which drew in one of the largest viewerships of the year.

For those unable to snag tickets, the official ACM Awards playlist is now available on Amazon Music, featuring tracks from this year's nominees. Fans can enjoy tunes from Country Music luminaries like Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll directly on the Amazon Music app.
