The Storehouse Community Center (TSCC) is extending an exclusive invitation to 52 corporations to become members of a unique initiative, Club 52.
The program offers corporations the opportunity to sponsor one week of food pantry operations. Through this sponsorship, corporations play a vital role in helping neighbors access essential resources and empowering them on their journey toward self-sufficiency. The Storehouse’s program vision is to transform the lives of 20% of the neighbors it serves.
“Club members have the opportunity to join with corporate peers in North Texas to ensure TSCC’s pantry is able to meet the needs of our neighbors each week of the year,” CEO Candace Winslow said in an official statement. “The brainchild of Sarah Whitling, our director of stewardship and development, Club 52 is a win-win for The Storehouse, the corporations, and, ultimately, our neighbors.”
Inaugural members of Club 52 include Amwins Specialty Auto, Enterprise Car Sales, H-E-B, Lennox, Medical City Frisco & Plano, Plunk Smith, PLLC, Preston Forrest Capital, LLC, Quilling, Selander, Lownds, Winslett & Moser, PC, Sports Value Consulting and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano.
Becoming a member of Club 52 requires a $5,000 investment. In return, corporate sponsors enjoy a range of benefits, including recognition as the presenting sponsor for one week of pantry operations. This includes having the company’s logo displayed digitally to all volunteers, printed on signage visible to all clients and shared via email.
Sponsors also receive social media recognition during their designated week, the opportunity to distribute pre-approved marketing materials to clients and volunteers, and access to volunteer opportunities during their sponsored week and throughout the year. Additionally, Club 52 members receive year-round recognition through digital and printed materials and are invited to select donor stewardship and recognition events throughout the year.
The Storehouse serves 149,000 clients annually across Dallas, Collin and Denton counties, providing each of the approximately 5,000 families served with 80-85 pounds of nutritious food each month. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The Storehouse relies entirely on funding from individuals, corporations, churches and foundations.
