JOA, a Korean BBQ restaurant located in Dallas’ Koreatown, announced the launch of its newly-updated menu. Featuring revamped appetizers, hot pot options, a la carte meats and plated entrees, the menu promises an authentic taste of Korea for hungry North Texas diners.

Among the menu highlights are the mouthwatering shareable options, including the Bulgogi Roll/Eel Roll (a fusion of nori, egg, radish, cucumber, carrot, fried tofu, and a choice of beef or eel), the succulent Flash Fried Octopus (served with radish, chili sauce and more) as well as the Fresh Raw Oysters (served with Canadian cascumpec and yuzu vinaigrette).

On the entree front, JOA added delectable options like the Miso Glazed Salmon (with mashed potatoes, shishito pepper, and carrots), Rice Bowl with Shrimp or Eel (featuring white rice, soy sauce and an egg) and a sumptuous lobster dish served with butter, lemon, mashed potatoes and honey.

Patrons can also now indulge in a selection of a la carte meat options such as C.A.B Filet Mignon, C.A.B. New York Strip and Marinated Chicken Breast.

Finally, at the heart of the new menu are two hot pot packages — the Taste of JOA and Taste of Texan.

The Taste of JOA, designed for two diners, features prime short rib, black angus hanger steak, marinated bone-in short rib, ribeye and shrimp. Meanwhile, the Taste of Texan, which caters to four diners, includes filet mignon, NY strip, marinated ribeye, prime short rib and ribeye.

Both dinner packages are served with kimchi salad, bean paste soup, white rice, along with ice cream for dessert.

The revamped menu was spearheaded by Michelin-recognized chefs Chef Minji Kim and Ben Lee, who are excited for local residents to try their new offerings.

“When we first opened JOA we treated it almost as if it was a test kitchen. Now that we know what our guests’ favorites are and what they’ve requested we’ve tailored the menu to give them the ultimate Korean dining experience here in Dallas,” said Chef Kim.

JOA is located at 2254 Royal Lane, Dallas, Texas 75229, and is open Tuesday-Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to  10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
