A new dining option is coming to the corner of Park and Preston. Brya Zan Thai Noodle + Brew, created by Braden and Yasmin Wages of Malai Kitchen, is set for a soft opening the week of September 16 with an official launch the following week.

A Fresh Concept From Familiar Names
The Wages, known for Malai Kitchen’s four Dallas-Fort Worth locations, have been working on Brya Zan quietly for years. Their goal is to offer a quicker, more approachable way to enjoy some of Southeast Asia’s most popular dishes, paired with Malai’s signature house-brewed beers.
“We were envisioning a place where guests could enjoy their favorite dishes faster, without compromising quality or flavor,” said co-owner Yasmin Wages in the press release.
The restaurant’s design, by Dallas firm JonesBaker, is inspired by Southeast Asian street markets. Expect indoor and outdoor seating, a lively dining room and a casual yet modern atmosphere.
Menu Highlights
The menu, priced between $11 and $15, focuses on noodle and wok-fired classics like:
- Pad Thai
- Drunken Noodles
- Pineapple Fried Rice
Beverage options include Malai’s “Thai-P-A” beer, frozen cocktails and house-brewed iced teas and coffees. Guests can also order a frozen Mai Tai, one of the brand’s signature drinks.

Ordering And Convenience
Brya Zan is designed with speed and flexibility in mind. Diners can place orders through self-service kiosks, a web-based platform, or counter staff. A pickup window caters to families and those on the go. Every dish can be customized for dietary needs.
“Our vision was to create a space that gives guests more time for the things they love, without having to sacrifice a quality, healthy meal,” said chef and co-owner Braden Wages.
