In honor of Black History Month, Ocean Prime Dallas announced that it will be participating in Uncle Nearest’s HBCU Old Fashioned Challenge.
The initiative is dedicated to raising funds for every accredited Historically Black College & University (HBCU) nationwide, with the ultimate goal of reaching $1.4 million to provide full-tuition scholarships to those institutions.
As part of the cause, throughout the entire month of February, Ocean Prime will serve Old Fashioneds infused with Uncle Nearest’s 1884 blend, with one dollar from each beverage sold going towards the fundraiser. In addition, Uncle Nearest pledged to match the donations contributed by the Dallas eatery, further amplifying the impact of each cocktail sold during the month.
Ocean Prime encourages diners to pair their Old Fashioned concoctions with the restaurant's Lobster Bisque Soup and Teriyaki Salmon for “a distinctive and flavorful” experience.
Ocean Prime is located at 2101 Cedar Springs Rd #150, Dallas, TX 75201, and is open Monday-Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
