The California-to-Texas company exodus continues. QuickFee, a financial technology firm from Australia that’s been operating in the U.S. since 2016, moved its North American head offices from Los Angeles to the Parkwood Place building at Legacy business park in Plano.

The fintech company offers business-to-business accounts receivable (AR) accelerating services aimed at accounting and law firms with over 319,000 U.S. customers according to The Dallas Morning News. In 2022, after QuickFee U.S. reached its highest-ever volumes in ACH, card and financing in March, the company made plans to accelerate its go-to-market strategy with a share placement campaign. One of the most remarkable companies participating in the capital raise was Payroc,  a global credit card and ACH processor, which globally facilitates US$ 65 billion of payments volume annually.

Following the completion of the share placement, QuickFee started looking for professionals to help with the company’s growth and strategic relations.

In December 2022, Jennifer Warawa was appointed president of QuickFee U.S. and in June 2023, Rafael Casas joined the company as director of strategic alliances and partnerships specializing in the accounting profession. In early October 2023, the company announced the appointment of Dave Moore as its chief technology officer (CTO). Before his new role at QuickFee, Moore was the chief innovation officer at the Austin-based tech firm Growth Acceleration Partners, specializing in helping companies in the process of digital transformation.

"We are thrilled to welcome Dave Moore to the QuickFee team as our chief technology officer," Jennifer Warawa, president of QuickFee North America said in a statement. "Dave's extensive experience, innovative thinking, and exceptional leadership skills will be invaluable as we continue to rapidly evolve our technology solutions, improve our customers' experience and drive our company's growth."

The new headquarters opened on Oct. 17, 2023, and is located at 5601 Democracy Drive in Plano, in a 101,000-square-foot office building east of the Dallas North Tollway in Legacy business park.
