In my defense, it had been a very long day following an almost completely sleepless night. Nevertheless, what happened gave me pause. We were in a restaurant with a fairly large group and someone kept ordering wine and appetizers.

The State Fair of Texas attracts thousands of visitors each year … and their vehicles. The best way to get to the fair easily, safely and without the parking hassle is to take a DART train or bus. The fair runs through October 18.
