The wait is finally over. Legacy Hall – one of the nation’s largest and most unique new food halls – is making its highly anticipated debut on Wednesday, Dec. 6.

Following our disappointment with the delayed opening of Legacy Hall at Legacy West, Front Burner is back in our good books with the announced opening of Haywire restaurant, a three-story restaurant in the same building as Legacy Hall.

One of my favorite hidden Plano restaurants is in a Tom Thumb parking lot next door to a Liquor Mart. Lily’s Cafe, a family-owned business that opened about two years ago with basically no fanfare.

Nothing says cold weather quite like homemade pierogi, bigos and gołąbki and there’s no better place to get it than Taste of Poland. … Except for Poland. Taste of Poland is definitely a Plano institution and one of its most unique little restaurants.

To celebrate the release of our November edition, the Business Issue, our friends at Roy’s Restaurant at 2840 Dallas Parkway in Plano hosted a fabulous Hawaiian-themed Cover Party.

Burgers and a playscape? Yes, please. The​ ​Austin-based,​ ​fast-casual​ ​burger​ ​restaurant,​ ​Hat Creek​ ​Burger​ ​Co.,​ ​has​ ​opened​ ​its​ ​first​ ​Dallas​ ​area​ ​restaurant​ ​located​ ​at​ ​3321​ ​South​ ​Custer Road​ ​in​ ​McKinney,​ ​Texas.

What do you buy for the person who has everything? Cake. More specifically, the Tommy Bahama Piña Colada Cake. It’s delicious; it’s full of rum; and it gets delivered.
